New Users

One night the words Wicked Moon popped into my head and the rest is history. It wasn't for a domain at the time, just some random words that stuck. I really wanted portraits.com, but because all the good art domains had gone, I wasn't left with much choice. jasonbrown.com belonged to a snowboarder who wanted to sell it for a million dollars (later he let it expire and it was snapped up by some domain broker. Bastard didn't even tell me). Wicked Moon's first incarnation was in December 1996 as www.wickedmoon.demon.co.uk.

It was email only for a time, then in 1997 I learnt the basics of HTML and came up with this page. After that there was no stopping me and soon the world would come to know my art.

Life at Wicked Moon was not without its ups and downs. For about 18 months the domain was stolen off me by a nasty little Canadian by the name of Helmut. It didn't come cheap, but thanks to some lawyers (and in some ways despite those lawyers - their incompetence is another story) I finally got the domain back in January 2001. Read the full story.
